Hi, I’m Jackson, and I love solving problems. My plan for the future is to befriend technology and save the planet.
It’s a big job so I am looking forward to working together in a diverse team.
My career interests are in data analysis and cyber security.
Data is massive! And integral part of everything we do. Understanding it well is critical for making decisions that inform our next environmental, social or economic action.
It’s exciting to think that with good questions and a good dataset, you can find answers that can have bearing on the trajectory of an organization and its output in the world.
Since we rely so heavily on data and technology, cyber security is a serious concern. Our government, our banks, our work, and almost all of our personal information is somewhere online and in multiple companies data bases. Hence, working in a field that makes that makes any of this more secure would be a great privilege and honour.
I like thinking outside of the box, and this field seems to align with that strength to make a real impact.
I currently have a basic grasp of python and excel am looking to learn SQL, Power BI and R en route to working in data analysis.
I really would like to utilize my strengths to make the world a better place.
